History

ECO - ROM AMBALAJE S.A. is an organization founded in 2003, by a group of companies activating in Romania, which have taken the initiative of implementing ”Der Grüne Punkt” system in our country, as an efficient solution for packaging and packaging waste recovery and recycling obligations.

ECO - ROM AMBALAJE S.A. is an organization oriented towards an efficient and long-lasting solutions for package waste management, similarly to those present in states of European Union ( Eco- Emballages in France, Fost Plus in Belgium, ARA in Austria, Duales System Deutchland in Gemany), affilate to ”Der Grüne Punkt” system.

ECO - ROM AMBALAJE S.A. offers all economic operators, with responsibilities regarding packaging and packaging waste, the ”Der Grüne Punkt” system, an organized and efficient management system of packaging waste recovery and recycling activities.

ECO - ROM AMBALAJE S.A. takes over, under contract, the obligations of the economic operators in managing following activities:

  • packaging waste recovery and recycling activities ;

  • the obligation to report the reacquired information concerning packaging and packaging waste to the authorities.


ECO - ROM AMBALAJE S.A. According to its status ECO-ROM AMBALAJE SA reinvests the obtained profit and administrate all the resources for reaching the goals related to the implementation of Order 04/12/EC regarding the packaging and packaging waste.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • Fulfilling the legal recovery and recycling objectives of 100% for all customers.


  • Developing , at a national level, an integrated waste management system for all types of packaging:

    • The development of an industrial scheme (waste products from economical agents)


    • Active involvement along with the Municipalities and Waste Management Companies in projects for selective collection of household packaging waste.

Fees reflect the operation costs;

The entire profit is reinvested to increase the efficiency of our services;

The organization is open to receive new members from companies which have the obligation of achieving the recovery and recycling objectives;

Equal treatment applied to all recovered and recycled materials;
