Now we can find out more about how we can participate in packaging waste recycling. Eco-Rom Ambalaje has launched a national programme to support environmental education on selective waste collection. The programme consists in the distribution of the educational kit "We learn to recycle package" in the schools from the localities where selective waste collection activities are organised.

The kit includes the Handbook "We learn to recycle package", for 3rd and 4th graders, and the Guide for trainers and teachers. The materials are offered free of charge to all the schools from the localities which have selective waste collection services, so that we can put into practice what we learn.

So far, the handbook has been distributed to 20,000 pupils from 28 localities... and the number is increasing.

The educational materials are part of the national programme "Education for health in the Romanian schools", and have been developed by a group of teachers and specialists of the Romanian Package Association, under the direct guidance of the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation.
